Leadpages Pricing 2026: Plans and Hidden Meter

· Converto

Leadpages costs $10, $29, or $49 a month for its HTML Pub publishing tiers, then $99, $199, or $399 a month for Leadpages proper, with 20 percent off on annual billing. There is no free plan and the trial runs 7 days. The detail that separates it from every competitor in the category: no Leadpages plan meters your traffic. Pricing verified on Leadpages' own pricing page in August 2026. Last updated August 2026.

That last point is worth more than it sounds. Unbounce, Landingi, Instapage, and Swipe Pages all charge you by visitors, and the visitor cap is the line item that quietly forces an upgrade. Leadpages removed that meter and put a different one in its place, which almost nobody writing about its pricing has noticed yet. Here is the full ladder with the arithmetic done.

Leadpages pricing: all plans compared

Leadpages sells two product lines from one pricing page, and conflating them is the most common mistake in Leadpages comparisons. HTML Pub is publishing only. Leadpages is publishing plus conversion tooling.

Leadpages is the only builder in its category with no traffic cap

Every direct competitor meters visitors. Unbounce Starter allows 500 a month at $29. Landingi Build allows 2,000 at the same price. Instapage Create allows 15,000 at $99. Swipe Pages Startup allows 20,000 at $29 and charges $5 for each additional 5,000. Leadpages allows unlimited traffic on every plan, including the $10 one.

This is a structural difference, not a marketing one, and it changes who should buy Leadpages. If your traffic is spiky, seasonal, or driven by campaigns you cannot forecast, a visitor meter is a bill you cannot predict and an outage you cannot schedule. A post that unexpectedly does well should not take your landing page offline or trigger an upgrade prompt in the middle of a campaign.

Two caveats keep this honest. Unlimited traffic on the $10 tier still only buys you 5 pages and no A/B testing, so it is a publishing plan, not a marketing plan. And Leadpages did not remove metering; it moved it, which is the next section.

What AI credits are, and why they are the new meter

Leadpages now allocates AI credits monthly: 4,000 on HTML Pub Starter rising to 160,000 on Scale. Credits are consumed by the AI features, chiefly copy generation, page generation, and the optimization suggestions. That is a 40x spread from the cheapest plan to the most expensive, and it is the axis the ladder is actually built on now.

The practical read: the AI credit allowance scales roughly with price, so if you plan to lean on AI copy generation heavily, price the tier by credits rather than by pages. A team generating variants for a dozen campaigns a month will feel 4,000 credits quickly. A business publishing five stable pages will never touch the ceiling.

Leadpages now publishes what an extra credit costs, which it did not when this ladder first appeared. Top-up packs run $2.50 for 2,000 credits, $5 for 5,000, $12 for 15,000, $35 for 50,000 and $90 for 150,000. That is $1.25 per 1,000 credits on the smallest pack, falling to $0.60 per 1,000 on the largest, so the meter is priced on a volume curve like any other usage product.

That single number makes the ladder easier to read. Going from Grow at $99 to Optimize at $199 adds 40,000 monthly credits, and buying 40,000 credits as top-ups costs about $28. So roughly $70 of that $100 step is not credits at all: it is Smart Traffic, click and scroll heatmaps, auto-personalization, two extra custom domains and analytics retention going from 12 months to 24. Decide the tier on those features. If credits are the only thing you are short of, topping up is dramatically cheaper than moving up a plan.

The A/B testing gate: $10 to $99

No HTML Pub tier includes A/B testing. It starts on Grow at $99 a month, which is 9.9 times the advertised $10 entry price, the widest gap between advertised entry and testing tier of any builder in this category.

BuilderAdvertised entryTier that unlocks A/B testingMultiple
Swipe Pages$29$69 Marketer2.4x
Instapage$99$199 Optimize2.0x
Landingi$29$143 Optimize monthly4.9x
Unbounce$29$149 Experiment5.1x
Leadpages$10$99 Grow9.9x

A multiple that large is not necessarily a criticism, because $10 and $99 are honestly two different products rather than two rungs of one. It becomes a problem when a comparison table lists Leadpages at $10 next to Unbounce at $29 and implies you are looking at like for like. You are not. The comparable Leadpages tier to Unbounce Experiment at $149 is Optimize at $199, which is where Smart Traffic routing and heatmaps live.

Worth pausing on whether you need the testing tier at all. Detecting a 10 percent lift on a page converting at 2 percent takes roughly 50,000 visitors per variation before the result means anything. Plenty of teams buy a $199 plan and then run tests that never reach significance. The math is in A/B test sample size, and it is a cheaper read than a year of the wrong tier.

The 7-day trial is the shortest in the category

Unbounce gives 14 days and asks for no card. Landingi and Swipe Pages give 14 days. Instapage gives 14 days but requires a card and caps the trial at 2,500 visitors. Leadpages gives 7 days with full platform access.

Seven days is enough to build a page and judge the editor. It is not enough to run a test, gather traffic, or evaluate Smart Traffic, so do not plan to assess the $199 features during the trial. Build one real page you would actually ship, and judge the tool on how long that took.

Is Leadpages worth it in 2026?

It is worth it in two specific cases. The first is unpredictable traffic, where no visitor cap is a genuine structural advantage that no competitor matches at any price. The second is a business publishing a steady handful of pages that wants a real custom domain with SSL and a blog for $29 a month, which is cheaper than most website hosting with a page builder attached.

It is poor value if you are buying it as an Unbounce replacement at the advertised price, because the tiers that compete with Unbounce are $99 and $199, not $10. It is also the wrong tool if there is a checkout on the page, where funnel platforms with order bumps and upsells belong instead.

One thing Leadpages does not do at any tier is send your follow-up. HTML Pub captures the lead and stops there, so the nurture sequence needs its own tool, and for outbound-heavy teams a system that researches each prospect and writes the sequence is usually a separate line in the budget worth planning for up front rather than discovering in month two.

Common questions about Leadpages pricing

How much does Leadpages cost per month?

Publishing starts at $10 a month for 5 pages on HTML Pub Starter, $29 for 25 pages, and $49 for 50 pages with two domains. The full Leadpages product with A/B testing starts at $99 a month on Grow, $199 on Optimize with Smart Traffic and heatmaps, and $399 on Scale with 10 team seats. Annual billing takes 20 percent off every tier.

Does Leadpages have a free plan?

No. There is no free forever tier, only a 7-day free trial with full platform access. Among landing page tools, Systeme.io is the notable exception with a genuinely usable free plan covering 3 funnels and 2,000 contacts. If a free tier is a hard requirement, Leadpages is not the answer.

Does Leadpages limit traffic?

No. Leadpages states no traffic caps on any plan, including the $10 HTML Pub Starter tier. This is unique among mainstream landing page builders, all of which meter monthly visitors and prompt an upgrade at the cap. Leadpages meters AI credits instead, from 4,000 a month at $10 up to 160,000 at $399.

What is the difference between HTML Pub and Leadpages?

HTML Pub is the publishing layer at $10 to $49: pages, a custom domain, a blog, and analytics. Leadpages at $99 to $399 adds the conversion tooling on top, including A/B testing, dynamic text replacement, lead enrichment, Smart Traffic AI routing, and heatmaps. Comparisons that quote the $10 price against a competitor's testing tier are comparing two different products.

Does Leadpages include A/B testing?

Not on any HTML Pub tier. Manual A/B testing starts on Grow at $99 a month. Optimize at $199 adds Smart Traffic, which routes each visitor to the variant most likely to convert them rather than splitting traffic evenly, and Scale at $399 adds a full auto-optimization loop.

Is Leadpages cheaper than Unbounce?

At the entry price yes, $10 against $29, but that compares a publishing plan with a landing page plan. Compared like for like, Leadpages Grow at $99 has manual A/B testing while Unbounce Build at $99 has none, so Leadpages wins that rung. Above it, Unbounce Experiment at $149 undercuts Leadpages Optimize at $199, though Optimize includes heatmaps and Smart Traffic that Unbounce holds back until $249.

Does Leadpages offer a discount?

Annual billing takes 20 percent off every tier, which is the discount the pricing page publishes. That works out to roughly $79 a month for Grow and $159 for Optimize. Seasonal promotions appear from time to time but are not part of the published ladder, so budget from the annual rate rather than a coupon you may not find.

Before you pick a tier

Choose from two numbers: how many pages you will actually publish, and whether you will run tests with enough traffic to finish them. Pages decide HTML Pub Starter against Pro against Business. Testing decides whether you belong on the $99 line at all. Almost everything else on the feature comparison is noise for a first purchase.

And before you conclude the builder is why conversions are flat, check the page itself. Pages underperform for reasons that survive a platform migration intact: a headline about the product rather than the outcome, a CTA that never appears above the fold on a phone, proof placed after the ask instead of before it, and a form collecting fields nobody needs. Rebuilding that page in a different tool reproduces every one of those problems faithfully.

Converto reads a live URL, on Leadpages or anywhere else, and scores the copy, layout, CTAs, page speed, and AI-readability, then writes ready-to-ship variants for the headline, CTA, and body copy. Nothing to install, no rebuild, self-serve from $19/mo. Suggestions are data-informed, not guarantees. Start with a landing page audit, see how the price compares in the best Leadpages alternatives comparison, which works out what exactly $99 a month buys at three different builders, compare the wider category in the best Unbounce alternatives roundup, or read why a landing page is not converting if you want to work through it yourself first.
