Kajabi Expert Cost and Hourly Rates in 2026

· Converto

Short answer: a Kajabi expert typically charges about $25 to $150 an hour, depending on the job and the person. The hiring sites we checked publish ranges of $25 to $70 (Freelancer.com), $40 to $120 (Guru) and $50 to over $150 (a Kajabi-focused consultancy), with design work at the top and admin at the bottom. A complete website, course and funnel setup is quoted as a project, and one listing we found starts at $3,000 for two weeks. Your Kajabi plan, $143 to $499 a month, is on top.

Rates come from pages the hiring platforms and consultancies publish about their own markets: Freelancer.com’s and Guru’s Kajabi hiring pages, Don’t Do It Yourself’s Kajabi hiring guide, SupplyGem’s Kajabi experts guide (last updated April 2024) and individual Contra listings, read October 15, 2026. Kajabi plan prices are from kajabi.com/pricing on the same day. Every source sells or lists the service it prices, so treat the numbers as asking prices, not a survey.

Nobody audits these numbers, and the sources disagree, so here is each one with where it came from.

SourcePublished rateWhat it covers
Freelancer.com Kajabi hiring page$25 to $70 an hourKajabi freelancers in general, varying by experience and location
Guru Kajabi hiring page$40 to $120 an hourFreelance Kajabi experts, simple template work at the low end
Don’t Do It Yourself, Kajabi hiring guide$50 to over $150 an hourFreelance Kajabi designers and developers, by expertise and project demands
SupplyGem, Kajabi experts guideDesign $25 to $100, marketing $20 to $60, content $10 to $75, admin $15 to $35 an hourAverages by task; the guide says it has seen $10 to $500 an hour overall
Contra listingsFrom $30 an hour, or from $3,000 for a two-week setupTwo individual freelancers, one hourly and one fixed-price website, course and funnel build
Don’t Do It Yourself, full-time hireAbout $50,000 to over $100,000 a yearA US developer specializing in platforms like Kajabi, median around $70,000 to $80,000

Read the table as three markets. Template edits and admin help sit at $15 to $40 an hour. Custom design, funnels and automations run $50 to $150. And a full-time hire only makes sense for a business big enough to keep someone busy every week, which few solo course creators are.

How much does it cost to hire a Kajabi expert for a sales page?

The honest answer is hours times rate, and the hours depend on how much of the page already exists. A fix to an existing page is a few hours; a new long-form sales page with copy, design and checkout setup is a project. Here is what the published hourly ranges add up to at different job sizes.

Hours of workAt $25 an hourAt $70 an hourAt $150 an hour
5 hours (edits to an existing page)$125$350$750
10 hours$250$700$1,500
20 hours (a new sales page from your copy)$500$1,400$3,000
40 hours (site, course and funnel setup)$1,000$2,800$6,000

The hours in the left column are illustrations, not quotes; ask every expert for an estimate in hours before you compare prices. The arithmetic shows why the fixed-price listing above, $3,000 for two weeks, is in the normal range for a full setup, and why a quote of $3,000 just to adjust an existing sales page is not.

Copy is usually the largest single line. Many Kajabi designers build from copy you supply, so if the page also needs to be written, budget for a copywriter separately or confirm the expert does both.

How the Kajabi Experts marketplace works

Kajabi runs its own Experts marketplace. You create a project by picking a service category, describing what you need, and setting a budget, language and location preferences. The brief goes to relevant experts, who message you with questions, their approach and a price. You accept a proposal, which sets the payment terms, and confirm it with a contract. When the work is done you accept the invoice, Kajabi emails a payment link, and you rate the expert afterward. Kajabi says the experts are pre-vetted.

The marketplace does not publish fixed prices, so you will not see a rate card before you post. That is normal for project work, and it is why the brief matters more than the platform you hire on.

Hourly or fixed project price

Hourly suits open-ended work: tidying a site, fixing automations, ongoing admin. A fixed price suits anything you can describe in full before work starts, which includes almost every sales page. With a fixed price the risk of a slow job sits with the expert, and you can compare quotes like for like. Whichever you choose, agree on the number of revision rounds in writing, since that is where most budget overruns come from.

What to put in the brief

A tight brief gets you comparable quotes and stops a $1,500 job turning into $4,000. Include:

  • The one action the page is for. Buy the course, book a call or apply for the next cohort. One offer per page.
  • Whether copy is included. If you are supplying it, attach it. If not, ask for a separate line for copywriting.
  • Which Kajabi pieces to set up. Sales page, offer and checkout, order bumps, upsells, email sequence, course structure. Each is quoted separately by most experts.
  • Course extras. Quizzes, worksheets and certificates add hours. If lessons are already recorded, you can save some of them by turning each lesson video into a multiple-choice quiz yourself and asking the expert only to place them.
  • Mobile and speed. Ask for the page to be checked on a phone, with the buy button in the first screen and no autoplay background video in the hero.
  • Revision rounds and handover. How many rounds, and whether you get edit access and a short walkthrough at the end.

Should I hire a Kajabi expert or fix my sales page myself?

If you have no sales page, or the one you have is built on the wrong structure, hire. If you have a page that gets traffic and does not sell, find out why before you pay anyone to rebuild it. The usual causes on Kajabi are structural and cheap to fix in the page builder: a site header full of links to your blog and podcast, a headline that names the course instead of the result, a first buy button three screens down on a phone, too many offers on one page, and a heavy hero video. Kajabi’s own sales page guide warns against several of these by name.

Converto checks all of those from the live URL in about a minute. It counts the exits, measures where the first call to action sits, times the page and writes replacement headline and button copy. The checks and where to change each one in Kajabi are on Kajabi sales page optimization. Plans start from $29 a month billed yearly, which is less than an hour of most experts’ time, and you can re-check the page after every change and before every launch.

The two routes work together. Audit first, fix what you can in an afternoon, and hand the expert a shorter, clearer brief for what is left. If the copy itself is the problem, conversion copywriter vs copy audit tool covers when to pay a professional. And if you are weighing a bigger retainer, CRO agency vs CRO tool sets out when an agency earns its fee.

How to choose among the best Kajabi designers

Ratings on a marketplace tell you someone delivered on time. They do not tell you the pages sold. Before you hire, ask for three live sales pages the expert built, open each on your phone, and check the basics yourself: does the headline say what you get, is there a buy button in the first screen, how many links lead off the page, and how long does it take to load. You can also paste those pages into an audit and compare the scores. An expert who builds pages that pass those checks will usually build yours the same way.

Ask too whether they have worked on your kind of offer. A membership, a high-ticket coaching program that books calls, and a $97 course need different pages, and a designer who has only built one of them will default to it.

Paste your page and see what is leaking

Drop in any live URL and Converto audits the copy, layout, CTAs, speed, and AI-readability of the page you already have, then hands you ready-to-ship variants to lift signups and sales. Suggestions are data-informed, not guarantees.
